Mrs. Gayathri Subhash, our Director of Programmes has a Masters in Psychology and a Diploma in Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Disabilities, Early Intervention, and Learning Disabilities. She is also a Master Trainer in Parent Training. With 3 decades of experience in the field, she steers the entire process of planning and implementation of all the programmes at Shristi thereby maintaining the quality of our services.

Mrs. Suchita Somashekaraiah, our Secretary and Managing Director has a Masters in Sociology, a Diploma in Special Education ( Mental Retardation and Autism ), and is a Master Trainer for Behavior Modification. She also has a certificate in counseling and has undergone training in STAT ( Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers ) at TRIAD Center, Nashville, USA.

Suchita is one of Shristi’s co-founders. She has been working as a Special Educator at the centre since the inception and is a driving force behind developing the centre. With over 3 decades of experience, she contributes to human resource development and strategic planning. Suchita has received the ‘Social Excellence Award’ from Manava Seva Samvardhini Trust and the ‘Rotary Vocational Service Award’ from the Rotary Club of High Grounds, Bengaluru for her excellent social contributions.

Mr. Venkateswaran.K, our President is the founder of Uniglass Industries, a company that manufactures insulating materials. He retired from his professional life and has been involved with Shristi for over 15 years now. He has a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from RVCE, Bengaluru.

Venkateswaran.K played a key role in developing Shristi’s infrastructure. At the moment, he acts as Technical Advisor at the Angakaranika Kendra, Whitefield, an organisation that provides artificial limbs for handicapped people. He is also known for his immense contribution to tribal welfare and education. He works with various organisations to provide solar lamps and other basic amenities needed for NGOs that work in tribal areas. He is also involved with numerous other NGOs in Bangalore and Kerala. Currently, he helps Shristi in work-related to management and finance.

Mr. Nandeesha P.M, our Committee Member is an entrepreneur, Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. He is the founder of the Spinifex Consulting Pvt. Ltd, a provider of niche consulting in SAP ERP space. Additionally, he has 20 years of experience in SAP ERP consulting and finance outsourcing.

Nandeesha is an avid sportsman. He is a triathlete ( half-ironman ), marathon runner ( full marathon ), cyclist ( 300 KM brevet ) and a badminton player. Nandeesha volunteers for multiple NGOs and has been associated with Shristi Special Academy for the past 10 years.

Mrs. Parvathy R, our Committee Member has a Masters in Literature, B.Ed. She is the founder and trustee member of ASM High school, Bengaluru. Parvathy has been a source of inspiration for imparting inclusive education. She played an instrumental role in enabling mainstream education to many special children at Shristi and other places.

Mrs. Subhadra B, our Vice President has a Bachelors’s in Education and a Masters’s in Arts. She recently retired from Carmel High School, where she worked as a teacher for over 20 years. Subhadra has been on Shrishti’s board for the past 12 years and has made great contributions in enabling mainstream education to many special children.

Mrs. Jayashree Prasad, our Committee Member is a philanthropist, who works with many local NGOs such as Shristi, Adamya Chetana and Aruna Chetana. Her specialty includes networking with similar organizations, prominent community members and leaders.

Mr.Ramamurthy A.S our Treasurer holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and comes with an experience of 30 years in the field of finance and labour laws. He started off his career as a finance assistant and climbed up the ladder to become the Head of Finance at Uniglass Industries Pvt. Ltd. His expertise has helped Shrishti in better financial planning and control, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Kannan Hariharan, our Committee Member is a former Senior Director HR at PepsiCo. He comes with over 30 years of corporate experience. Currently, he is a consultant, coach, social entrepreneur and Chairman and CEO of Vietnam Company Ltd. Kannan was rewarded and recognized many times in his career. He is passionate about inclusion and is the Chief Consultant at Avtar Career Creators and Flexi Careers (pioneers in the field of diversity and inclusion).
